Pricing:

Our prices are all based on a base rate of $40 per hour.

Per Hour Work:

If we are working on a per hour basis for consulting, or quick support calls, we charge $10 for every 15 mins.

Larger Projects:

For larger projects like setups and rehabilitations we send a quote that you can look over before we get started. Quotes are built on an estimate of the expected time spent x $40 per hour. We honor quotes regardless of time spent as long as the project stays within the scope of the project plan. If we find more to do, or new projects along the way, we will discuss and quote for the extra work!

Ongoing Services:

For ongoing services like bookkeeping or financial analysis we base a monthly rate on estimated time spent. Monthly fees are charged after the last day of the month. We will also conduct an annual review of services to make sure our rates still fall within target.

Consulting - Support

Sometimes it helps to get an outside view of things. We can help think through things like logistics, data capture, and profitability. When people in movies say "I gotta crunch the numbers..." This is what they are talking about. We also ask questions like:

"What problem are we trying to solve here?"
"Have we reached the point of diminishing returns on this project?"
"Wow this is so cool! I think people are going to LOVE this"

Also when the tiny robots are rebelling, and your stuff isn't working, sometimes we can help with that! A quick tech support call can save hours of headache.

Startup Setup

What's more exciting than starting a new business? A fresh new set of books of course! Ok, maybe not for most people, but we find most entrepreneurs feel a huge relief when they know the books are in order, and they can focus on whatever they started the business to do in the first place. Most startup projects consist of 4 - 5 meetings over the course of a few months. We will discuss the particulars of your business operations, make sure your books reflect your business, and make sure you will be ready for tax time come April. We will customize your chart of accounts (the bones of your books) and help make sure any integrations are running smoothly. If your going to be doing your own books we will walk you through the basics, or make sure your bookkeeper has what they need to do the job. Most startup projects range from $300 - $700.

Bookkeeping

Double entry bookkeeping was invented by a Florentine merchant in the 13 century and now it's YOUR problem for some reason. If you don't want to think about it though, it can be our problem! We price out each client individually based on the number and complexity of transactions. We do things like download several months of your financial activity, find an average and charge a few cents per. Together we can build a monthly charge that works for both of us! Bookkeeping includes data entry, reconciliation and monthly financial reports. Maybe you can even retire that messy spreadsheet or notebook where you occasionally try to figure out if your business is actually making money! Most bookkeeping clients are charged between $200 - $500 monthly.

Can you keep all these books please? I need to do other stuff!

Payment providers, data capture, data flow, and data mining, customer experience, employee experience, audience growth, engagement and calls to action... These are truly overwhelming times, and you're pretty sure you should be able to accept a credit payment without having to make a sacrifice to the internet gods. We can help! Lets breakdown your infrastructure needs into bitesize pieces and find the most efficient solutions. You probably don't need to spend thousands to do what you need to do, there is usually a company out there doing a great job serving businesses like yours for a fair price, we just gotta find em! Design projects range from $150 - $500.

Retrofit - Rehabilitation

Ok, lets take a deep breath. Sometimes bookkeeping has been something that only happens every couple of months, in a flurry of guilt and caffeine. YES Mistakes were made, YES It's a bit of a mess, and now for some reason its suddenly become important, YIKES! That's okay, it happens to the best of us, I won't let you anywhere near my garage, because honestly i don't think its safe for humans. WE CAN DO THIS - we will pull on the tangled threads and start to straighten things out, the more we do the easier it gets! You have been working hard in your business and your books should reflect the story of your investment. These projects vary widely and the price will be a reflection of the number of years we will be rehabilitating, the complexity of your transactions and the current state of your financials. For rush projects expect to pay a little extra for overtime. Projects range between $500 to several thousand dollars.
